check underneath and check that all the bolts are in place and done up

Hi, Okay first of all the throttle pot may not be returning to the central position any-more normally this causes a error condition, a bleeping sound, the other thing is the brake is not working correctly , it be worn or not releasing , Do you hear a click when going forward or backwards ?, Some Sterling's work with the brake disconnected so check the wiring.. remember 24v is applied to the electromagnic brake to release the plates allowing you to move, keep me posted please. i haven't been able to locate a manual online however here is the company website http://www.sterlingscooters.co.uk/index.asp email them or call them they may be able to assist you. keep in mind many companies won't offer support for products bought on ebay.

If you use the scooter every day then plug the scooter in each night for 8-10 hours.

what the charger is showing that ?, it has a digital display ? please supply more information
