SOURCE: Senseo coffee maker

There isn't a way to adjust it. The senseo is calibrated to make either a 4oz or 8oz cup. Unfortunately, we are so used to buying mugs at the store that are MUCH bigger than this!

SOURCE: Flavia Coffee Maker coffee sprays outside cup

I bet that's wild thing to see. Ok, Is ther a basket that'ds supposed to be there? If not, heat up a large paper clip, straightened of course and run it yhrough the hole. If the nozzle will come off, clean the burrs of the edges of the hole on the inside. It sounds like it's restricted if it's spraying. Good luck

How much coffee do i use in a 55 cup coffee pot?

I US teaspoon per cup is recommended. 1 US cup = 48 US teaspoons, so for a 55 cup coffee maker you would use 1&1/4 US measuring cups of coffee. Add a little more (1/4 US cup) for stronger coffee brew.

How much coffee would it take to make the 55 cups in this coffee maker, and can you use the same coffee as you use for drip machines?

Your model sounds like the West Bend 59055 - Large Coffee Urn, 60 Cup.
The User Manual for your coffer urn can be found here:

http://www.westbend.com/supportdata/L5613B_LargeCapacityUrns-All.pdf

Instruction for making coffee can be found on page 5. For 55 cups is would take 3 1/4 cups of coffee.

Use an electric perc or regular grind coffee; if you grind your own this should be a medium to coarse grind.

Do not use 'drip' or finely ground coffee as this could plug the drain holes in the basket and cause the urn to flood.

How much coffee do I use for the 22-cup Farberware coffee pot?

that would depend on the coffee, and how strong you like it.

as well as how large your standard cups are.

I use 1/4 cup of folgers classic blend for 4 'normal' cups of coffee. I also use an oversized camping mug - so 4 normal cups fills two of the mugs. - - - you may want to try 1 1/8 cup of coffee grounds in the filter if making a full pot.

How much coffee to use for 55 cups

Follow the directions on the brand of coffee you buy. Usually 1/2 cup of coffee for 10 cups. Ex: 2 3/4 cups of coffee for 55 cups. 1 cup for 20 cups. 2 cups for 40 cups. Hope this helps.
