The F7 code indicates that the touch pad either has a "stuck" or shorted key. Depending on the oven model, you either need to replace the touch pad or the controller (clock) and the touch pad. (Some Jenn Air appliances sell the two as one unit.)
Please add a comment with your model number to get additional information on the availability and price for the parts. (Parts may be available from a number of suppliers, including jenn-air.partselect.com.)
Hi, the error code implies that the Function key shorted or stuck.. You need to replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).
Hello- The code described F1/ F7 indicates a 'stuck' key on the control panel. The problem is fairly common, and is not caused by computer. The panel is actually more expensive than the computer. On site diagnosis is needed to confirm. The switch is on a circuit board behind the panel and is not serviceable. Find a good service tech in your area to check it out. Wish I had good news, but I installed several of these under 1 year warranty period. So- let me know if this info helps- have more if needed. Thanks- Ed
HI There I have this code for you to read and this is helpful. Let me know how it goes.
F1
Defective touch pad or clock (ERC)
Replace touch pad or clock (ERC). Touch pad is a more common problem.
Refer to F1 test at the top of this page for more information.Thank you for writing to fix ya. Best Regards Richard
I replaced the C3 capacitor on the circuit board and works fine. This was mentioned in a prior post and took 5 minutes and was under $5.00 for the part.
We own a Jenn-Aire model W27400W oven. The display module has
gradually gone dim over a period of several months prior to the end of
the warranty, and the display is no longer visible. It is apparent
that several Jenn-Aire oven models use the same display. Does Anyone
else have the same problem, and If so, are they willing to join a
class-action suit against Jenn-Aire with us?
