You'll need to replace/update your firmware (the software package that makes the player work), and you can do that at the Samsung site here:

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/download/supportGlobalDownloadPrdDetail.do

*I can't give you the exact page cuz Samsung makes a lot of YP-K3s and that's all you gave me to work with...You'll have to get the rest of the model number from the back of the player and pick it from the list above.

I recently got an mp3 from a friend..the Samsung YP-K3. It works fine and everything..the only problem is, it won't let me put songs onto it. The file will not show up on my computer, though it says that...

Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > System Open the drives tab and and looked up the mp3's drive. There should be a yellow exclamation mark. Right click on that drive and update it.

If that won't work, try to uninstall that driver and then install the disc and then plug in the mp3.

How do I delete music from my SAMSUNG K3

Ezy! Open Start menu -"My Computer" and you'll see the YP-K3 player sitting there as a removable device. Now click it and then click Media folder, then Music folder. In there U can easily delete your music and/or add music by copying/pasting INTO that folder.

Hope it helps...
