I am trying to work out how to change the answering message on my office phone. The Model is a Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System KX- T7630
My handset is the main port where the calls come through.
Unfortunately I have lost the manual and I don't know how it was originally set up.
Any help with this would be fantastic!
You don't "lose" the manual, it comes on a CD. The Panasonic system probably has a TVA voice mail system and it requires you to change the Auto Attendant greeting from the message manager's mailbox. If you don't have the passwords for mailbox 998 and 999, you need to contact someone who has them and a layout of the system.
Your Panasonic technician can guide you through the process.

It's tough to "lose" a manual that came as a file and on CD :-)
Knowing how the Auto Attendant and Voice Mail was set up is everything, because each one is different. If you have a TVA or TVS system, the messages are programmed through the message manager and system manager's mailbox and the maintenance console. You change messages from mailbox 998. If you don't have the instructions and password for how it was set up, find someone who does. That may have to be the original Panasonic installer. They will be able to read the system and replace your missing set of instructions.
