Need to know how many time the red light is blinking there should be a pause. 4 blinks is a fan, 3 blinks is the lamp door is not closed 6 blinks is thermal sensor.

Blinked 4 times the first time, then blinked 5 times each time after that. I may have miscounted the first time.

The power/standby light blinks red three times pauses then repeats on my Sony KDF-E42A10 TV... no power Thanks

Hi,
Please make sure lamp cover is fixed properly as it was removed to replace/ check lamp in tv.
If lamp cover is not fixed, tv will not turn On and red light will blink 3 times.
Thanks.

Why power/stanby blinks light red

how many times does it flash? The back of the manual will usually tell you what the flashes mean. Try this: unplug tv from power. While unplugged, hold the power button in on the TV, not on the remote! Hold for 10 seconds. Replug the power and try to power it up. If you get no picture, you need a repair. Contact the manufacturer for an authorized servicer.

Tv won't turn on. It blinks green then red.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?
Thanks.

Problem for Sony Grand WEGA KDF-55WF655. Hello,

5 times Red LED blinks means Lamp Driver Error. (KDF-55WF655)
2 possible reasons, either Lamp is gone or Ballast Supply got bad.
Replace lamp first, in most cases it solved the problem.
How old is this TV and did you replaced lamp recently?
Thanks.
