I can't charge iPhone, I got power surge warrning on my computer

I can't charge my iPhone, when I plug it to the wall nothing happen and when I plug it to my computer usb I got a power surge warrning message on my computer screen, please help me fixing the problem

Hello friend,
maybe your cable of charging is nit genuine,
if warning displays in your phone then there is the problem in cable
and if the error displays in computer then the problem should be in battery or main board

I was just anwering another person with the same issue as you. As I was telling him, it is a common issue that I fix 4-5 per week. But it is a very difficult repair. Your main flex cable needs to be inspected and posibily replaced. This cable also has the Microphone, Speaker and bottom charging port copnnected to it. I suggest taking it to a repair shop with iphone specialty. If you are in US you can ship to me if you like. [email protected]

Based on your description, it sounds like this iPhone logic board isn't working properly. It could be related to the power management unit, or the battery could have simply become desoldered if you dropped the unit.
Another cause for this problem could be from water damage which may have fried the PMU chip. If this is the case and you're not experienced with BGA removal/replacing then you're best bet is probably to sell the unit AS IS for parts or repair on eBay, Craigslist, or you could sell it to me.

Drained/dead battery

Plug your iPhone into your computer or wall adapter to charge. If it does not charge when connected to either of these, you probably have a dead battery. The battery will need to be replaced with a new one.

Bad display

It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. If the iPhone sounds like it is working properly but nothing is visible, it is possible the display is bad and must be replaced. Unfortunately, the LCD and glass panel are fused together, and must be replaced as one unit.

Bad logic board

Iphone 3gs died today. Just went off, no restrat seems to work. plugged into computer and tried restart and still nothing, plugged into wall socket and still nothing - literally dead to the world. Computer...

That happened to me once but i did a forced restart
Have you guys tried a forced restart?? if not try it, its very simple.

press and hold both your home and sleep mode buttons togeather until the phone starts.. let me know if it works.

Ok my iphone is about to die the 20 % came on for the batrey and then i plug it into the wall charger still wont charge left it for 30 then came back and still nothing went to diffrent chargers and walls...

Probably your Iphone Charging Socket is short. Take it to the APP store and they will be able to help you out.

Well if it is always plugged to the wall then the laptop's power jack is the common problem there. You can have a Computer Technician check it and diagnose it for you. Be careful how much you pay, if that is the problem (i'm pretty sure it has to be) you can shop for the part online (ebay is a good place to find them for around ten bucks) and hand it to the computer guy. Otherwise you may be charged a fortune to get it fixed. Next time, use a power surge between the power adapter and the wall's power outlet.
Here's is a brief explanation of what happens with the power jack. Inside of it there are two or three pieces of metal that look like thick wires and what they do is transfer the current to the laptop. Eventually they wear out and break (common cause is having your laptop plugged to the wall continously exposing it to all sorts of power surges). Hope it helps, good luck.

Iphone Battery died now it wont charge or turn on

Hello ! I was in panic attack !!! did everthing and nothing seems to wake up my iphone. I forgot to charge it so battery went full empty, then I plug it on the wall charger, and nothing happend. I let it all nite, and next morning,... surprise !!!!! still the red icon, No battery, the iphone didnt restart!!!! How I fix it?
1-unplug it from the wall charger 2- press middle button and startup button, same time 3-when red battery dissapear, plug the charger. 4_ do this many times. Didnt work for me the first time, but at the end it works !!!!
NOW MY IPHONE IS WORKING GREAT !!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!!!!!!

Last night I turned-off my PC througg Windows and when I pushed the power button this morning nothing hapened. There is no sign of "life" from the PC.

Check the power source to the computer (both ends of the cord), if a surge protector is in line with the power , remove it and plug the computer straight into the wall. also check the wall plug with a lamp or something to ensure power there. make sure the switch on the power supply hasnt been changed to the 220v side.
If no power at the wall- check your breaker box in the house
If it works plugged straight into the wall- check the surge protector
If power at the wall and plugged straight into the computer (no surge protector) and nothing lights up when you turn it on- have your power supply checked.
