I have recently bought a second hand Volvo s70 but the Message "Code" was showing on the radion I contacted Volvo and they gave me the code 4521 but this just brought up an error message can you get me the code. The stereo is a volvo SC-805 serial number V00690 X9189247G.

Car Manufacturers are always looking for the best radios they can find for their cars but like so many things today they sometimes don't work forever or technology make them obsolete and trying to remove a VOLVO RADIO is not an easy task!
IT SEEMS A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A CODE TO FIX A PROBLEM WITH THEIR (yy/mm/dd) VOLVO SOUND SYSTEM AND HAVE BEEN GETTING IT FROM VOLVO BUT NOT GETTING A FIX!
I seriously think that VOLVO did this on purpose! Not to sell more cars in the future but to have you, the VOLVO OWNER have to buy a new vastly improved radio so as to enjoy your volvo even more somewhere down the road!
I know I'd lose it if my radio went on my new or even used car and I would seriously consider buying a different one all together but I would probably just go to my local radio store which all towns seem to have today and get a new one and see what they would charge me to put it in. These local radio stores are the best for car radios. They're not big outlets just mom&pop operations!
I'd bet my new radio would make me love my ride in my OLD VOLVO so........much more!

As for me, I think I'd just scrap the crappy radio and get a new High Definition HD Radio or High Def CD/Radio Combo but that's just me!
