It is brand new and it is under warranty. Take it back to the selling dealer for repair or replacement. You paid for the warrant, avail yourself of it.

I have a brand new Ocean brand freezer. It turns on for 8 minutes and turns off for 8 minutes. Is that normal?

Question edited for clarity.

Yes, it is called 'cycling'. It runs and when the compressor has made it reach its set temperature, it cycles off. Then as the temperature rises, the compressor comes back on to reduce the temperature. If you drop a large package of fresh food in there, it should run longer. Check the temperature with a thermometer. I should be -18'C or 0'F +/- 2'.

I have a brand new 650 Hoysung with 600km. After +- 35 km the engine spluters and cuts out dead. Have to stop and restart.

Sounds like you are having a fuel tarvation issue, If you ride for about 3-4 minutes and it quits.. then you sit for a few minutes and it restarts,, this the most likely problem. If you can drive for 15- 20 minutes and it quits, sits for 10 minutes then restarts, it may be the coil.. it gets hot, then breaks down,,,then cools off and restarts..its the most likely culprit.. A good dealer should be able to "stress test" your coil.

It's a brand new Air conditioner, shuts off after about 3-5 minutes of being on then it restarts and continues this cycle. What should I do? Delonghi penguino 10,000 btu

Sounds like it is either low on Freon (factory defect) or the thermostat needs adjustment or is bad. This unit is "short-cycling". There is always a delay between shutoff and restart in A/C systems. This allows the pressures to equalize in the system so that the compressor does not try to pump liquid Freon (doesn't work and almost always fatal for the compressor). If it is this new, return it for replacement. I am assuming that it is a portable or window unit.

Dometic RV A/c compressor runs every 10 minutes

Looks like the fan is jammed or a coil has burnt out, resulting in heat which when detected by the thermostat, passes the compressor to star, but since the fan isn't working it manages to drop the temp near the sensor causing the compressor to shut down & restart quickly. Get the fan repaired/replaced at the earliest & don't use the m/c till then....sodeep

Craftsman compressor runs for 10 sec. and shuts off.

I have a Craftsman 2hp/12 gallon Air compressor that does basicly the same thing, will start, run for about 3 seconds and stop. I replaced the pressure switch but still have the problem. Any suggestions?

1996 Ford Bronco Turning on air conditioner turns off motor

From this year bronco, I would suspect that the A/C compressor is faulty. The smoke is from the fan belt slipping because the A/C compressor is locked or extremely hard to turn. The squeal is the same thing.

The only fix I know is to take out the old A/C compressor and replace with an new unit or a used one from a junk yard. You will then need to take the car in to a service station to get the system vacuum for 10 minutes under about 10 psi pressure. Then you fill with new refrigerant and you should be good to go. The filling part is hard to do unless you have some equipment, it's 30 minutes at a shop. I suggest the shop.
