Sony green power/standby led blinks picture goes out

Did replacing the Lamp fix your problem where the green power/standby led stays lit green, then the pictures goes black, no sound and the green power/standby led blinks?

I had this same problem and after doing some research, I removed the lamp, cleaned it and plugged it back in. It fixed my problem completely.

I have a Sony KDS-R50XBR1 that has no picture. When I turn on the TV, the green Power/Standby LED light blinks for about 30 seconds, then turns red and blinks five times. The Power/Standby LED repeats...

Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen A2 slightly.

Sony LCD KF-50WE610 no picture-red light blinking

3 times standby red light blinking shows that lamp cover has not been placed back properly after lamp replacement.
Make sure lamp cover, (the first thing that you removed to replace lamp in tv) is fixed securely then turn tv On.

Hi,
You need to replace Lamp only as existing lamp is weak in result and causing such symptoms.
Ballast supply is fine and working.

Sony KDF-60XS955 Wega Tv when powered on displays video for 10 seconds. Then the video disappears, screen goes black, the power/standby light blinks green for 30 times, video comes back on and the llight...

Since you have not replaced its lamp yet. Symptom shows that TV lamp is weak and consume more then required current and causing error of shut down and reboot.
Please replace lamp. Lamp light will lit when lamp would be dead, currently it is weak.
