THEN CHOOSE LANGUAGE.

the instructions in english are....

1. From the Home screen, drag ^ upwards.

2. Find and tap Settings > Language & keyboard > Select locale.
3. Select required option.

No way.It can be done only in smart phones

once the phone started,select the language to english or go to settings,languange,change input and menu language to english.

I had a look around on my X1 and I cannot find how to change the language for you. unless you need to reinstall Windows Mobile 6.1 to English. and that could solve it ?

to change your phone language you need to go into settings then profiles the language scroll down 3 one down click select and all
language will display you can them change back to english language
