Faberware 55 cup coffee urn leaking at spigot and indicator light

if the pot is leaking at or thru power indicator light, there is no repair. The spigot is not available. You can look on eBay for used similar urns.

Delonghi magnifica promblems with water and milk

Frothing jug
For milk frothing issues, soak the milk jug cover in hot water and rinse several times. If it has a froth control that can be removed by sliding in the direction of travel towards the edge whilst jiggling it gently up and down. Clean off the little o-ring with a toothpick, be gentle. The control should easily slide and click back in place when done.

Froth still no good? Examine the milk coupling to ensure the o-rings are in the right spot and are pliable and undamaged. There should be an o-ring (usually green) on the top spigot, a (black) o-ring at the front of the bottom spigot and a (red) oring at the rear. The groove halfway along the spigot should be clear. Now with the toothpick and a hot moist cloth clean all the crud from the milk coupling, especially inside the smaller spigot. Check the tiny hole at the back of the larger spigot is not blocked.

Check the flow from the hot water spout is good. If not, there are internal issues, try descaling. If it is, test the frothing jug, if it is still weak either the jug cover or the milk coupling needs to be replaced. Get them to try a known good test jug at your local coffee service center to find out which, most will be happy to do this at the counter.

The spigot leaks. It seems the threads on the inner screw-on nut have stripped and we can't get a leak-free spigot. The urn is being used in our staff lunch room at Rain Forest International School in...

if you can get hold of some plumbers ptfe tape then that might fix the problem, dissasemble the spigot and wrap the tape round the stripped threads, then do up tight. a heavy duty filler such as chemical metal would do the trick too.
if you cant get hold of these bits then there is a temporaary fix that might work, dissasemble the spigot and coat the threads with loads of egg white, put it back together and heat it up until the egg cooks, with a bit of luck it will expand enough to seal the joint (this can work on leaking car radiators too).
good luck

Need to replace my spigot on my 30 cup revere ware coffee maker because it leaks. Where can I get one to "pop" into that hole so I can pour the coffee out of the pot into the cups.

I have a Westbend 24 cup coffee urn with a leaky faucet. I tried finding areplacement spigot for it but so far no luck. My spigot has a screw in the top that allow for disassembly. It looks to me that if I could get a replacement rubber O-ring I could fix it myself. Does anyone know where I could get this?
Thanks

Take the cup warmer off the top and find where the water line comes into the machine, follow this line to a tap that has a screw in knob. If you turn the know clockwise it will slow the flow of water to the hot water spigot.

One dispense spigot barely trickles

You need to take a paper clip and clean the little holes where the water comes out on the left side (It's like a screen). Also you should pull the silver thing that adjusts to allow taller cups underneath up and down several times. You should do the latter every week. It helps get rid of some of the coffee grounds that block the aforementioned little holes.

Leaking Around Spigot, Coffee Urn

I have a Farberware L1360 with the same problem . If there is water in the pot , in about an hour a nice little puddle forms . It is leaking right where the spigot attaches to the body of the pot. I can see a rubber washer squeezing out around this spot. Maybe It melted?
I think it needs some heat resistant washer to replace it. Farberware co. doesnt really exist anymore. you can barely get parts. If the spigot itself works, mine does. I can't see buying a new one if it just needs a washer. Does anyone know what type of washer would be a good replacement?
