Hi, If you remove the grille below the doors, you can see a plastic water line passing through the lower hinge. Follow the line back about 6 inches and there should be a quick disconnect. It may be a screw type or the kind that you push down a small ring to get it to release

Need to replace water line inside freezer door.

Water lines inside doors are typically not serviceable as the insulation is "foam in place". Pulling apart the door and reassembling will be next to impossible. Generally the door would need to be replaced.

Monogram sxs leak

you need to access the back of the fridge and disconnect the waterlines going to the filter base(on the water valve or the main line coming in for example). After you disconnect the waterlines going to the filter base you can pull the base out, and replace the base. Hook the waterlines back up to the same spots you disconnected them from, and you should be good to go.

Need to remove doors from a Shelvador side-by-side fridge to get into house.. How to disconnect water line to door?

Most of the water lines have a quick connect fitting down at the bottom under the unit. Open doors, remove kick plate and follow line back. Should have a connection in that area.

I need a replacement water line for my LG LSC26905TT. The line is cracked and when I try to dispense water the line leaks.Where can I look for this product? Thanks for any info. Alan

If the water is leaking from the freezer door hinge the door would have to be replaced as the waterline in the door is foamed in place.

If the leak is from the back where the plastic lines are they are replaceable.

Contact LG @ 1 800 243-0000 and give the exact location of the bad waterline since there a couple on the unit.

We have an Electrolux Wave Touch with the same problem.
1 yr later, 3 new fridges, 1 new freezer door and no solution.
Yes, the line is clearly frozen inside the door.
Disconnect waterline at bottom of freezer door and activate solenoid - then you know for sure.

Water from the in the door water dispenser trickles out instead of flowing out

disconnect the line to the water dispenser at the water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in and try the dispenser. If it comes out good here Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line under the unit before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does leave the door open till it thaws.
A strainer before the inlet valve can also get stopped up restricting flow.

Water dispenser doesn't work on ge hotpoint freezer

Here recently I have run into 2 of these units that do this and have found that the dispenser line is frozen in the freezer door. The way to test this is to remove the kick plate under the doors (It is easiest to open both doors to do this) Disconnect the union in the water line leading to the door by pushing in on the waterline and pulling in on the end of the fitting. When the line is apart, close the doors and push in on the paddle as to fill a cup with water. If you get water out of the line under the door then your line in your door is frozen and you will either need to replace your door or let the unit thaw for 24 hours with the doors open. Cheaper to thaw. If no water comes out under the door when paddle is pressed then you will need to replace the water valve as long as you have 120 volts at the valve when actuated.

How do we access the waterline inside the freezer door?

The waterline comes out the lower door hinge. Unhook from coupler at bottom. Now go to the despencer and carefully take the cover off some have screws under drip plate or clipped which a flathead screw driver works nicely dont scratch finish. With proper water line usualy 1/8 size about 5foot long snake it down to the bottom hinge and rehook up. In some case if the tube gets kinked you may have to remove door to do it it. Usually pretty easy.
