read the instruction manual and see how to operate. if the timer is for to sleep, the problem will be the IC associates with him, you must see the block diagram and w.diagram. and tracking the signal. go to www. retrevo.com and download the diagram. God bless you
When the status light is blinking push the device and menu buttons on the tv at the same time and hold for 5 seconds or more. The red light will then blink a code. It will blink like 3 times, pause, then blink like 5 times. That would be a code of 35. It may blink one time long, then two short blinks. That is not a code blink but indicates another problem. Do a search for the service manual for your tv on the internet and look up the code. Sometimes it is as simple as a dirty fan that won't turn any more. But by knowing the codes you will know if you need a technician or if it is something simple.
Hi there, 5 blinks means there is a problem with the video board. It could be as simple as unplugging everything, includding power. Wait 3 minutes then plug power only back in. Or it may be a damaged component that requires replacing. Hope this helps TV_Doctors
After I unplug and then plug tv to reset I get a solid standby light, then when I push the power button I get a green light that blinks 6 times then it blinks red 6 times and then red 6 times continuosly with a slight delay between the 6 blinks of red.
