sounds like a failing t-con board. this board is on the back of the screen controls the signals to the screen. ribbon from main board goes to the t-con board.

this error code came from the LD unit which means the seconder LD is not synchronized on the machine but try to clean the mirror if it came agin the replace the LD board
When lighting the LSU LD, initialization of the LD driver is not performed normally. Harness/connector trouble between the LD PWB and the LSU mother PWB. LD PWB trouble. LSU mother PWB trouble.
I would guess you bought a dud micro drive or its been cleaned off. You could try a hard reset and see if it fixes itself. Perhaps the fellow cleaned off his information but hopefully he left the restore partition alone. You can rebuild that if you extract the files from the 2.0 upgrade and so on. There are a few tutorials on how and what to do on some of the hardcore LD sites.
Hopefully you didn't harm the board itself with a static discharge. I've seen a few guys do the swap and end up with a dead LD but usually they don't see anything at all.
