The Blue Lights Are Lighting Up But The Green Power Light Isn't Coming On

Hi, I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo E. There is a white line at the top of the cupholders that I would expect to light up with the ambient lighting, but does not light up in my truck. Does it light up in others? Is there a way to get lighting in there?

look to see how you have it wired, most sensor lights have many wires to put together, if it is not wired already from factory, you need to look to see how you have it wired, most sensors have three wires one black one red and one white, black wire goes to power, red wire goes to lamp, white goes to neutral, after all is wired you should have only 3 wires a black a white and a green, black to power white to home neutral and green to ground

You need to replace your backlight inverter.

Check that all voltages are coming from the power supply as they should. The power supply will be stamped with the correct amounts, and you just read with the multimeter to confirm.

After those check out ok, you will need to replace the inverter to "light" your screen again.


You can hear sound because the tv is ON, but the inverter isn't lighting the screen!

Hello you may have enable your led lighting on the blackberrry . Blue ii s the bluetooth. red is charginf green is data coming down. Yellow ie a warning that the bateery charge is low.you go into options and then scroll down do you want to enable led lighting just switch it to off. OKay hope this can help you. You can also do a battery pull and reset the phone afterwards.

Do u have a 4,5,6,or 7 way (wire) system? If it's 4 way it allows basic hookup for 3 lighting functions:
GREEN is right turn signal and stop light, YELLOW is left turn signal and stop light, BROWN is license, and side marker lights, WHITE is ground.

5way is same as above, but adds a BLUE wire for brake signal or aux. power. Its used on pop up campers, utility and boat trailers.

6way (rectangle plug) green=right turn signal, yellow=left turn signal, brown=taillight, white=ground, red and blue can be used for brake control or auxilary. Used on small motorcycle trailers, snowmobile trailers, utility trailers.

6way Round Plug, same as above, but blue is electric brakes, and black (sometimes red,) 12v; note:sometimes red/black need to be reversed w/ blue to suit the trailer.

7way adds an additional pin at plug in for 12volt power or back up lights. Whoa! hope that answers your question w/out confusing u. Let me know if u need more info.

All of the lights refered to have color issues ie: the pictures will look washed out using flood or spotlights, and green or blue using flourescents. While you can filter out the colors, and do a white balance to correct for lumenosity differences, these corrections will adversely affect everything else in the pictures. With the digital revolution in full swing, much pro quality lighting and cameras are now available on sites like E-bay at great prices(my $2,000.00 Bronica ETRS now sells for $250.00), so look for some used pro lighting units and avoid the headaches that using household of industrial style lighting units will cause. Get a B&H catalogue, and then look for these items on E-Bay.
