Sanso 250 First the dial was lit up and everything else did not work. Held down the power button and now it says key locked system shutdown. Now what? Never had a problem before.

Well, unfortunately, the last one I encountered like that, I had to replace the control board...

So you need to be In the main menu interface then press the power button for about 5 seconds to shut it down. Below is the power section out of the manual.


1.2 POWER
startup: Long Press and hold the power button, the system will enter the main interface
shutdown: In the main menu interface, Press the power button about 5 second to shutdown, The system can hint "power off" option, Clike"ok". you can safely shut down.
Lock screen: Short press Power button to lock screen or unlock screen.
Remark 1.When power is empty,system will shut down automatically.
2.Illegal turn off the device,restart will scan and restore the disk,it may take longer time to enter into system

Two things you can do, you can hold down the power button, keeping it held down, should power it off. The other solution is to remove the battery, this should cause the Notebook to power down

If the line button is lit then something within the system has picked it up. If the phone is a multiline set, the line 1 light on the set that is using the line will show green. The line could also be held by either a cordless phone on the system or the voicemail system. The easiest way to clear the line (if the held set isn't apparent) would be to cycle down the power to the phone system for a moment. That will clear the line if its held by the voicemail

Press shift key for at least five times and then release when you hear a peep sound, On the Keyboard tab, uncheck everything and click Ok, if this doesn't solve, then again press five times and uncheck everything and click Ok. I had the same problem. I held down the power button while plugging the unit into the wall and it fired right up. works fine now. You might have to do this a couple of times but mine was fixed on the first try.

Hi this sounds like your computer is in hibernation mode as opposed to shut down mode. Could you check and see as if running Vista many people assume that clicking on the brown power type selection under start that they are shutting down where as this actually only hibernation mode and clicking on the little arrow to the right of this and selecting shutdown is the way to go.

From what you've described, it sounds like you are clicking the Standby button, instead of the actual shutdown option. you void the warranty of the player by doing that. What i suggest you do is you can let your player dry off until all the water inside it disappears.
