BT Studio 1000 4 handsets

Main handset with answerphone ok 3 remote even with battery change seem on constant recharge no dial tone or display cant find user manual any suggestions to go through to get other 3 handsets working?
Is there a key combination on main phone to activate the other 3?? Thanks

    i have the bt studio hands free twin phones, and i have charged both the phones and can't get a dialing tone, I have taken the batterys out, pressed buttons, and i can not find the instruction manual anywhere could you let me know if there is a code to unlock it or just simply to make it work

    I have purchased BT Studio Plus 500 dual phones with answeing machine. The handset ringer volume on/off button has stopped working..phone still rings even when symbol indicates it should not! Can you advise this elderly dumbo please?

Hi there ive own the bt studio 1000 with two hand sets, my handset registered no2 keeps losing its distance range. i can not go any furter than 3meters away from the base. can you help pls

No Dial Tone from BT Diverse 7110 Single
Check that the volume on the handset is turned up, also replace the batteries or put in non-rechargeable ones to get the phone working at full capacity. If bought from Amazon you should be guaranteed for a year, not a month!

How do you register a second phone to the bt studio 1000 phone
1. Check the manual of your new handset on how to set it to registration mode.

Then on your BT Studio Base

2. Press and hold the base (page) button for at least 10 seconds until you hear the validation tone. then release. That's it.

for this model, you can only use up to 2 handsets.

No dial tone in Clarity C4230 setup
if you can get dial tone with another phone, look into manual for any instructions, usually a toll free number for help. ( BEST ) otherwise take phone back for exchange. may be problem in the board.

Cant get one of the phone to get dial tone says unavalibel
All you have to do is put the phone that does not get a dial tone on the MAIN CHARGING BASE for 20 seconds! it will then sync up!

My Bt Studio 3100 cordless telephone ( 2 Pack ). I have carried out the setting up procedures as per instructions.

Extra handsets no longer seem to work. No ring and no line
Please be sure to put the extra handsets in the MAIN base station to register. They will not register in the small remote charger stations.

Let me know if that fixes the problem!

No Dial Tone

If the second handset works ok on the base and the first handset doesn't, then you are right...the fault lies with the first handset. There are batteries ( special type ) in the handset, it sound as if either the batteries are dead, or not charged ( try charging them for 12 hours on the good base station ) or the connection is bad.

Signal indicator flashes constantly
The following worked when I had what appears to be the same problem. Solution :- Remove batteries, remove power connection, wait 30 minutes, re-connect power and replace batteries then press button on base until it beeps. Both handsets started continuous beeping which eventually stopped and everything was returned to normal. Admittdly this sounds almost identical to the process used by 'versailles' above, but at least it confirms that the technical info given by the BT Helpline does work

Registering a BT Freestyle 2200 handset
1. If there is a handset in the base remove it whilst you are registering the new handset.
2. Press and hold the PAGE button on the base for about 10 seconds until you hear a beep and the In Use light starts flashing.
3. On the handset to be registered, press and hold redial & CALLSd buttons together until display shows 65-.
4. Enter the base number. If this is a new handset then the base number is 1, the display shows 65-1 then PIN. which is normally 0000
5. Enter and registration starts. When the handset beeps and returns to standby registration is complete.
