Black screen, black pictures. Shutter is not

Black screen when trying to take pictures. The shutter is not opening so pictures take but they are pure black.

    Does the lens assembly extend from the face of the camera? The mechanism for the shutter may be stripped or possibly just derailed. Can you move the shutter out of the way manually? Try a very delicate touch and see if the shutters will pivot out of the way of the lens path. Use a small implement. If the shutter moves easily, it is most likely a damaged mechanism. You can move them out of the way and secure them, at least your camera will work. The cost for repair is probably not worth it, but if it can be made usable, then it is worth keeping.

Screen is black....will not display whats being taken a picture of nor is taking pictures.
