Mmm
I have finall fixed the f20 error. It has to do with the washer protesting that it is not getting enough water either from the hot or cold intake or both. This can be caused by many things including simple stuff like not turning both water valves on, Super low flow pressure, or screen filters being plugged with particulate. If all of these check out, then you have to look inside the machine. Most of the remaining f20 errors are caused by the following defective part: Whirlpool Washer, Water valve #8540751.
This is the housing that you screw your hot and cold water hoses into on the back of the washer. The water flow and temprature is controlled by two solenoid energized valves that turn the hot and cold water on and off. In many cases, one or both of these solenoids sticks intermittently, causing water temperature and volume problems that trigger the f20 error. In troubleshooting the problem on a warm water cycle(uses both hot and cold water), the hot water would only flow when I applied hand pressure to the hot water solenoid and flexed the electrical connection durring the fill cycle. It responed by working fine as long as I maintained pressure to the connection, and then failed when pressure was absent.
This part sells for under thirty dollars, is the size of a baseball, and can be replaced in less than an hour with a few simple tools, good luck

Washer is beeping, stopping on spin cycle....can't get it to finish during the spin.....what do I need to do please?
I have the same problem. Just got the set delivered yesterday. After the installation guys left, we ran the "test" cycle recommended in the manual. Everything was fine. Then we ran a single load of clothes. Again, everything was fine. This morning, I put another load in, and within minutes of starting the cycle, we got an F20 error. I have pulled the machine out and checked all the connections. There are no kinks in the hoses, there is no debris clogging the screens at the inlet hose connections, and the water inlet hose is not frozen. I then reattached the hoses, plugged the machine in, and tried to run the load again, but with no luck. Still getting the F20 error.
I just got the Duet Sport washer and had the same F20 problem. I'm on well water, so to minimize our use, we tighten all our valves slightly to make more efficient use of the pressure. We "tested" the washer with a Quick Wash, but the cold-only temperature setting, and kept getting the F20 error. I had to increase the HOT water line a little more, because apparently, even on a cold-only temperature setting, this machine still checks the hot water pressure.
So, either it's lying and using hot water on a cold-only setting, or it just cares too much about everything. Ah, technology!
