After reading an article about Emachines awhile back, I found out the reason you can't find the schematic- it isn't available, as some motherboards are made specifically for Emachines and therefore not distributed, as they might normally be, but again, others are, but you have to identify them and go through another source to get them- Emachines, appartantly, will not supply them. All is not lost, however...all motherboards have, basically, the same hookups and connectors for the power supplies, hard drives, etc.- they are standard. I found a web blog that explains the power switch, reset, and power led, which will help. Here it is: http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/emachine-power-sitch-wiring/56545.html
This site will explain about the 24 pin connector from the power supply
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/53750-7-installation-manual-rs480m-w3400-emachine-motherboard
If you google "motherboard wiring" you will find sites that have illustrations of the motherboard, and explain which connectors go to which sockets, and how to identify them.
With a little patience and determination, you should be able to hook everything up from the various blogs on the net. Hope this helps.

I need to confirm the location of the extra fan connector; eMachines T4852 The mainboard manual lists 'Fan Connectors' page 11, but there is no information about Fan connectors on that page. Emachines Chat...

It if is a three pin male "receptacle" with a tab on one side and open on the other, it is in fact a fan connector. Most motherboards have them labeled right on the motherboard as Chassis, CPU, etc.

Have a e machine fan runs but connect monitor to another computer it works. smell a burning smell when turn on pc. Got it to come up once by unplug power hold on button 45 seconds plug in and turn on came...

The smell is the Power Supply.

Typical example of a Power Supply not installed in a desktop computer,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4435072&CatId=106

[ NOTE*
This is not an example of a direct replacement Power Supply for your computer. I would need to know the Model Number of your eMachines to give exact information ]

Bad Power Supply. Weak voltage power rail. (Or rails. There are three main voltage power rails for a Power Supply used in an eMachines desktop computer)

Enough power to light LED lights, and apparently spin fans, but Not enough to turn the Processor on.

Watts = Voltage times Amperage.
One measurement used for measuring the maximum available power output, of a desktop Power Supply, (SMPS. Switched-Mode Power Supply), is to state the Maximum Wattage available.

Typical maximum Wattage available for a typical eMachines Power Supply, usually averages from 150 to 300Watts.

1) ALL of the LED lights on at one time, will use less than 1 Watt of power.

2) EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts of power.

3) A typical Processor can use 51 to 125 Watts of power.
Depends on what Processor it is.

(Note* Intel Pentium II processors use less than 51 Watts)

Solution is to replace the Power Supply.
This isn't as hard as it 'sounds', if you have never performed this procedure before.
I know you can do it.

2) http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-install-or-change-my-computers-power-supply

3) http://computer.howstuffworks.com/power-supply.htm

If you need guidance in replacing the Power Supply in a step by step for your eMachines, please post in a Comment. (Believe upper right of your page)

Should you also desire recommendations to compare for a Power Supply, I would be happy to provide them.

Need schematics

Connecting to the computer is straight forward unless it does not work. Check the power supply first outside of that I don't think the schematics are available anywhere. And spare parts are not available items like these are disposable. Unless you’re good with circuit design and figure it out yourself the only option would be to purchase a new sound system

My computer won't come on.

Lilyoungun8, you need to be a little more specific; Check these:

1. Is the power from the mains turned on?
2. Turn it off from the wall socket and push the power cable back in, it may be loose. Then try turning it on again.
3. Hopefully it is none of the below, but if none of the aboe 2 things work, it may be one of these in increasing order of importance:
3.a. Your power cable is faulty - you will need to replace it
3.b. Your PC power supply is shot - you will need to replace it
3.c. Your motherboard has died - you will either need to replace it or buy a new PC altogether.

Need wiring diagram for emachines t2200 motherboard

If you are replacing the power supply and it has 4 pin 12v conector and your motherboard doesn't, just disregard the 4 pin plug. The 20 pin conector will supply sufficient power for the processor. Many of the older motherboards did not have a separate 12v supply for the processor.
