when i was running my sub off bridge mode this kept happening to me. I ended up just running two subs and for some reason the fuse stopped blowing. i think there is something wrong with these amps.
sounds like wiring. could be two much sub for the amp. your sub max power should be less than amp max. from your description its trying to go into protect mode. trace wires, cheking for breaks , loose connections and such. also make sure your fuses are in all the way.
In protection mode do you mean the light comes on and it plays music and stuff? If that's the case, that's what the amp is supposed to do. Protect itself from a power surge
Not enough juice, check the power and ground connections, another possibility is to have dc in the input, try to use in line filter available from radio shack to cut the dc, also test the with one speaker at the time, you could have a bad speaker (shorted) too.
You are probably presenting too low an impedance load to the amplifier. In bridged mode the amp must be connected to a minimum 4-ohm load. If your subwoofer is a dual voice coil type with 4-ohm voice coils, you cannot wire the voice coils in parallel and connect it to the bridged amplifier. If you have a sub with dual 2-ohm voice coils, you can wire the voice coils in series and connect it to the amplifier in bridged mode.
To connect voice coils in series: Connect a wire from the negative terminal of one coil to the positive terminal on the other coil. Connect the unused positive and negative terminals to the amplifier's output.
