Should be a button on the TV or remote that says Video or Mode. Make sure player is on before hitting the button and wait a few seconds.

Trying to hook up an emerson dvd player to tv and its not working? older tv it has no cable hook up or control box for channel set up, shouldnt the dvd player still be able to work though?

IM GUESSING THIS MIGHT BE AN RCA TELEVISION? if you dont have an rca in hook up on the tv give up and buy a new tv or you can find an older item what it is is a switch that has an rca input and a coax output it was used to hook up the older video game systems it is still sold in most stores and that will work if you do have rca inputs and lost the remote you need to get a universal remote to switch the input on certain older rca tv's you could go to channel 00 and it would set it to the input with the switch you shoudl be able to use it by putting the tv on channel 3

My rca has no picture the screen has a snowy picture is if it was on the wrong channel through my cable box.

More information would help. What are you running the signal into the TV with? Coax? Separate video/audio? To test the set if you have a vcr hooked up or available to hook up, input it into the tuner input and play a tape. Set the tv to either channel 3 or 4 (whichever channel the output of the vcr is set for, this can be determined by checking the menu or a switch on the back if it is an older vcr). If your TV is ok you should be able to see the tape which is playing. If not, and you still have snow you probably need a new tuner in the set. Let me know if you need more help.

How do i get to the input/video screen on the RCA F32672sb 32

If you have an old vcr hook the dvd player to the inputs on back of the vcr (RCA jacks) Run a coax cable from the "out" on the vcr to the back of tv. Turn the tv on channel 4 or 3 then put a tape in the vcr and push record then pause it. Or if the vcr has a tv/video button you can push or activate it and it should allow the dvd to play through to the tv.

No video audio connecters

If you have a VCR with RCA inputs and coax (cable) output to TV, try plugging the DVD players RCA outputs (L/R audio, composite video) to VCR RCA inputs. Then select the DVD input on the VCR and it shoud play just as a the VCR does. If you don't have a VCR, an RF modulator might be needed, but a VCR would probably be cheaper.

Sharp vc-a422

This is easy in a nutshell. from the cablebox into the VCR RF connection (ant in) then from the VCR RF into the TV RF in. The from the DVD composite video out and audio out into the VCR composite video in and audio in. This make the VCR the hub of your setup the VCR should be set to channel 3 and you can switch between the VCR and the DVD by using the VCR remote. Now for the cords: 1) Cable to VCR RF = Coaxial 2) Composite Video and audio out = RCA patch cable 3)Composite Video and audio in = RCA patch cable That is it. If your TV can support multiple inputs then use it as the hub. Cable Box to VCR RF (Coax cable) VCR to TV RF(coaxial cable) or VCR to TV Composite video, or TV Component Video (RCA Cable) DVD Player to Composite video, or TV Component Vido (RCA Cable), or Svideo (Svideo cable)

External DVD won't play - no manual available anywhere

The tv has a set of imputs for audio and video ,there is a posibility your dvd is not working right, you can also try a vcr by using the rca audio and video outputs of the vcr to the rca audio and video imputs of the tv,that will tell you if the dvd is not working ,the tv should have a switch selector for video and antena or have a channel below 1 called aux.
