ready. ground the e brake. green wire. also because you have a pioneer(i do to) you will need to have a switch where the driver can reach cause every time you turn off your car (acc) then start again this switch needs to be ungrounded then re grounded let e know how it goes.

There are a few ways to do this. Most of them involve grounding the e-brake wire and uploading special software. www.avic411.com should have multiple posts that give you step by step directions.

Its probably the ribbon cable between on the mechanism that flips out, you will have to get a repairer to do this. Try Pioneer support

the pioneer avic n3 has a seperate brain system and there is a cable that hooks the two together its called like the 13 pin wire or something and once you hook the brain and the head unit together it will have the display and everything else

Couple things come to mind. It might not like the engine running because it things you might start driving OR it could be a trigger wire that came loose or disconnected.

You can't unless you plan on driving from the back seat. And there's a really good reason why. Sorry I can't help you.
