Uv8 some seakers dont work in dvd/cd mode

You have the wrong wire hooked up to turn on your amplifire. You used the blue wire but need to use the Blue/White wire!! That is an amp turn on wire Thje blue one is for a power antenna and goes dead when you put in a disc. The tweeters play because they are hooked direct to your Jensen. You'll be jamming in no time.

No sound but plays the dvd fine

I think this is due to wrong Audio settings.
Try to change audio setting as Stereo/Right or Left/5.1 from the Audio setup of the Menu

Wont play

Try resetting the unit by pressing the small, recessed button on the faceplate with the tip of a pen. If this doesn't work, the player may be defective. There is no wiring error (including failure to hook up the parking brake input) that will prevent the unit from playing CDs.
