To restring the Hills Everyday 37 rotary clothesline FD88010 you are going to need a couple of tools which include a small screw driver and a set of cutters to cut the new line cord.
You will also need to order a pack of line, which for this unit would need to be the 70m pack from Hills. Here is a link to the line pack you would need.
Hills line clips could be something that you may also need in the restring process as these do tend to break on the older models of this unit. Below is a link to the Hills line clips that fit the Hills Everyday 37 FD88010 model.
Did you restring it? If so you may have crossed the line over itself too many times. Try to take all the line off and restring it again. Good luck...Lee
I've always had to replace them in the past - I've found that they are under alot of pressure and if it came off in the first place, then it will again. Save yourself a bunch of trouble, you can buy a new regulator w/ the motor for what you can get just the regulator alone for...just my personal experience
No fuse on that old of a model . Probably element bad or thermostat . You can get a restring kit a lot less expensive , but you would have to restring it yourself (not that hard though) or , you can buy the element already strung and all you have to do is transfer the thermostat and install . complete pt # Y303404 ...Restring element pt # Y313538
