There is no reset button or fuse, yo have a clog / reduced air flow, causing the motor to over heat and turn off. First change the bag, then remove the wands and carpet tool from the vacuum. See if the machine turns on. If not the main motor will need to be replaced. If it turns on and you have suction, check the wands or carpet tool for a clog.

The key to opening the unit is the two locking tabs that can be accessed by pressing the power and cord retractor levers down and sticking a flat screwdriver down to push the tabs. They are at the botom of the picture just below the pc board.
I had had trouble open my Quiet Jet, which is similar or same as quiet storm. There are 4 obvious screws and then the switch panel has to come off to take it the rest of the way apart. A guest was using the vacuum and said it wasn't working. I think what was really wrong was the speed control had been pushed to zero. After opening it I sprayed the switch with some old tuner cleaner/lub. I also tried to fix the cord retractor which very soon after getting the unit failed partially and the cord wouldn't retract all the way. I tried manually adding turns to the reel but that just put too much stress on it and it snapped and recoiled. I don't think they put enough spring in it.
Picture needed a little brightness/contrast adjustment. Also I had a problem with leaking around the start of the hose. I found you can get 3" wide heatshrink tubing on another blog, try amazon search - 3" 3M heatshrink tube. I haven't tried this yet. I used duct tape but will probably try the shrink tube later..
Your comment about having to remove the sitch panel solved the mystery for me on how to get to the rewind. Many thanks!

I have the same model ... 9068G. First, don't assume you need a new motor! Mine quit working several times, then would not start/run at all. I took it completely apart. I'm remembering that the Green/red "Need a new bag" light stopped working early on (dust makes this mechanical "light" stop sliding).... so then I thought the bag would have to be full to need replacing.....NOT good reasoning! The bag can reduce airflow very quickly if the stuff you're vacuuming has fine dust particles. So GoVac2 is correct about the motor overheating.... not sure if the motor has any internal overheating protection. I doubt it. Because it has no fuse, it draws more amps... works harder when the airflow is reduced and the wires heat up too ... something has to give. The plastic connectors on the wire harness melted at the circuit board and the thin metal (aluminum?) piece inside the plastic melted so much that it no longer made the connection, thus no start. The on/off switch is also fried.... had to buy a new circuit board at oregon city vacuum. Samsung part no. DJ41-20143G. Check those connectors carefully. Disconnect and look for burn marks at the posts and discoloration of the plastic. The on/off switch is opaque and on very careful examination i could see one blackened edge inside. Hope this helps...
