How to fix the power script in the back of a ps2

Hi

Is the keyboard usb or ps2? If its usb then try another port. If its ps2(Green) then power down the pc by holding in the power button for 8 to 10 seconds. Pull the plug and make sure no pins are bent. Plug it back in and boot back up. This should fix the problem if its ps2.

Everything can be fixed!!! As for your PS2's sound you yourself must configure out how its sounds gone,for that you must first change your PS2 connector cable other then power one,if changing that cable does not fix your problem then ask us about further assistance.Hope that solves your problem.

try this:
1. turn off PS2
2. unplug PS2
3. plug PS2 back in
4. turn on PS2

Well I used to have this problem. To fix it, I would take the TV/Video IN plug out of the back of the console. Then I would put it back in, and I would have sound and video. I've also been able to just wiggle it while it is still in the console, and that would sometimes work too.

Something inside the PS2 is busted so you might need to go to gamestop and get it fixed

look my friend the problem of your ps2 is something relationship with the bios, the bios is the program that run at start of your console (without the disc, the navigator menu) this problem is caused because tried to modify your console with some modchip and they do it wrong. Unfortunately your console can't be fixed for you, it has to be some expert in the area (not the guy who try to modify your ps2 of course) in the ps2slim is easy to reapir this things but in ps2 fat is no way back. BLACK SCREEN MEANS DEATH IN SONY CONSOLES, but your console can be fix. I'm from Guatemala.

There is a screw hidden under a lable, feel for a dimple and remove the screw. If there is no label then it's probably a snap lock on the housing.

Does the ribbon look damaged at all, Have you done a continuity test at each contact point of the ribbon, Sounds like the ribbon may possibly have a tear in it? Check and get back to us please.
