Squeaky treadmill I haven't used my NordicTrack C1800s treadmill for awhile (can anyone else relate to that?!), and when walking on it today, there was a fair amount of whining/groaning (and it wasn't me!) as the bed rotated on the rollers. Does this machine need to be oiled? greased? WD40'd? What should I do? It's almost too noisy to use. Thanks!

I'm guessing that a schematic would be difficult to obtain because the Nordic Track design is proprietary. The incline up/down calibration might be running at start-up which can take a couple minutes, after which, the machine returns to "normal" and buttons now respond. If this is not you case then a repair person may have to intervene.

treadmills draw alot of amps when being used. they recommend a 20 amp dedicated outlet.i ran into the same problem with a treadclimber.
you can try using a 15 amp but make sure nothing else is on that line

see the video attached. lube the rollers bearing front+back . Test the drive belt motor for to loose or faulty belt, and fix it.
However if the problem persist, TIME to replace the old board deck.

Find the complete model number of your treadmill. Lift and lock the walking deck. The model number will be on a decal on the main frame of the machine. Go to iconservice.com, click on manuals, and enter the model number.
