Images the pictures which are present in the galllery are not able to be hidden can you give the best sollution for this.

Maybe, they're not stored at the Memorex-disc, but at your local disc. There's a map at your C-drive, where Windows stores -by default- your images. Best is to open a program which you use to store pictures at your computer. Try to store a new image, and see where Windows is storing this.

If in the other case it's indeed stored at the Memorex drive, go to this drive and right-click with your mouse. A pop-up-screen will be shown, where your can select the tab "properties". A new window will pop-up, where you can see some specs about it. Try to find the "attributes"-section. There you can see if a map is indeed hidden or not.
Actually I doubt it, the map with pictures is hidden or read-protected. These options are most of the time just used for specific maps where a user should not go to mess around. like the "Windows"-map or "Documents and Settings"-map.

Sounds like the pictures are hidden. Take out the memory card of the acmera and plug it in to a computer that has a card reader. Click the file and folder options of your computer then click the box that says SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS. You should be able to view your pictures now using the computer.

For the best image that a finepix S2000HD can produce use the Maximum resolution is 3648 × 2736
and check for 10 mega pixel settings.

This will give freedom to edit the pictures and do what ever you want to the pictures.

Very probably a fault in the sustain board or possibly the control board. You would need to remove the rear cover & check what voltages are present on the sustain board coming from the power supply. It would be best to call out an engineer to give you an assessment of the problem

If there is image, the problem is a bronken screen, if not, it is a motherboard malfunction.

As for data recovery, I wouldn't advise to remove the hard drive since vendors or HP consider it warranty violation

try to change the preset setting on film maybe its is set on presentation which gives you more light than in film mode

It depends on the quality of the image and the number of mega pixels at which you shoot photos. HP Photosmart M517 shoots at up to 5 mega pixels + there is an additional setting called "5MP Best". 5MP setting creates images that are around 1.5MB - 3.5 MB in size. So, assuming 2.5 MB as an average, you'll get around 52 images per 128 MB at the best possible quality. You can do the other math. However, the camera always displays an "estimate" of how many more pictures you can take.

Now if you want to increase the number of pictures you can take you should decrease the image quality. 5 MP regular might give you upto 64 images per 128 MB, 3 MP may give you uptp 128 images per 128 MB (these are all approximations that evaluated based on my experience with this camera). I suggest that you don't go below 3 MPotherwise you'll get images that look OK on screen but not good for printing.
