See if the heater of the red projector crt is working. Try to do some tapping on the crt board to find if there are loose contacts that needs resoldering. if the heater is on and no loose contacts, probably the red projector needs replacement.
replace the convergence ICs you can get replacements at the following link. You need two STK392-560 convergence ICs and a couple 5 amp pico fuses. Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
If one or more of the colors, red, green or blue have separated from each other and you can`t correct the problem using the convergence procedure as described in the users manual, that would indicate you have a convergence problem. Bad solder connections on the convergence output chips are common. If the set had a rough ride down the stairs while moving, that may have facilitated in exposing a preexisting condition. However, the most likely cause is the natural failure of one of the convergence output chips and or related components and not the move. The fix is to have a qualified technician address the problem. This is not a do it yourself job.
Your convergence ICs are bad and maybe the two resistors right next to them. This is an easy and inexpensive repair if you can solder. A repair shop will run about 400.00 The parts are readily available for about 10.00 each you will need two ICsSTKXXX-XXX
Look inside your set for a large aluminum heat sink that's where hey are located they will have an STK number like above stamped on them. Those are the part numbers. Let me know what type of TV and model number you have and I can help you locate the proper parts.
Replace the convergence ICs. you will need two of them. They are located on a large aluminum heat sink with STK numbers. They cost about 10.00 each. They need to be soldered in. Its an easy repair if you can solder. Let me know if you need any additional info.
You have an convergence problem, There are 2
IC's that go bad and a few resisters that can
change value. If you flip the board with the
Chips inspect the pins for cold solder joints.
The IC's can be purchased from matelectronics
