Dryer only heats on the highest heat setting

There are three heat settings on the dryer, but the dryer only heats on the highest heat setting now. I used to have to use the lowest heat setting to dry my clothes because the medium and cotton settings were too hot. The dryer is two years old

Some electric dryers have two heating elements. You probably have one bad heater and one good heater.

Hotpoint Dryer Model HTDX100ED5WW: Not heating even though air is blowing and drum rotates.

If it uses a pilot light check to see if it is lit. If no pilot the electric starter is probably bad. If no pilot does it make light buzzing as it is trying to start, if not the starter is bad.

Where is the on button to turn on the heated seats in a 2007 ford five hundred? I just got the car and I don't know where it is and I was told there was heated seats.

The heated seats are a luxury feature that heat the front seats. This provides maximum comfort for the driver and the front passenger. To turn on the heated seats, press the heated seat button, which is a picture of a seat. There are two of these buttons, and each are located on the center console. The button on the driver's side of the console controls the heat for the driver's seat, while the button on the passenger's side of the center console controls the heat for the passenger's seat. Pressing the heated seat button will turn the heated-seats onto their highest setting. Pressing the button a second time will lower the heated seats to their medium setting. Pressing the button a third time will result in the lowest setting. Pressing the button a fourth time will turn off the heated seats. There are three lights next to the heated seat buttons to indicate what setting the heated seats are on.
Tip
The heated seats will only work when the engine is running.

I have a Garrison 043-5931-2 Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater that I need instructions on. Can't seem to figure out how to manage the heat.

The on button will bring you to H which means set the Highest Heat you want, using the up down buttons. Then push on button again to get L for the lowest heat, again using the up down buttons. Then click the on button again to get Auto. This will keep the heater going until it reaches your highest setting and it will stop until it reaches the lowest setting and then start heating again. Remember to only plug directly into a wall outlet or you will get E3 message indicating that it is overheating.

I got the damm over My sony Vaio S series laptop, I'v cleaned several times, but it is shown again, (my building is so old), how can I clean the damm forever?

Best way I have found to dry out a computer is to use a hair dryer on the lowest setting or no heat and blow it carefully into the vents on the laptop. I have done this successfully on Toshiba and VAIO laptops I used on my boat. Just be careful not to get the hair dryer too close to any plastic to avoid melt damage but on lowest heat or no heat setting that should not be a big issue.

My Neptune dryer trips the breaker after 2 to 3 min on lowest heat setting. Used to trip it only at highest heat after 15 min. Got worse over 10 years. Can anyone help? Thanks Dave

If you are tripping the breaker for any reason then you have a short somewhere within your machine and you need to call a tech to isolate the problem.

My iron temp cuts off and only stays at a low temp even thou it is at it highest settings regards Mike

It is possible that the BIMETTALIC cut off is OFF set and so the cut off happens vry early .
You might need to remove the unit and get access to see if this can be set to higher level- tighter- so that the bimetal takes more heat to cut off. This will provide you a higher heat.
You can calibrate using the highest/lowest settings.

Heat / AC only come on when blower is set to highest setting (4)

Not exactly sure if it's an easy fix without looking at it , but is seem to be the switch is going out, usually have to take dash trim off to expose the bolts to get the switch housing out. Then the switch will come off from the back side , and you'll have to unplug the wireing plug from it, to replace it.

My Air conditioner only works on high

The switch that runs the blower motor for air and heat sends the DC voltage through some big resisters when it isn't set on high. (On high it sends all the power to the motor.)
If the lowest speed doesn't work then one of the resisters has gone bad, or come disconnected. If more than 1 speed doesn't work then a differant resister has gone bad or disconnected. The power runs through each resister in series so the most common one to go bad is the second to highest speed. when this resister is bad thaen it will only work on the highest setting. Replacing the switch won't fix it. You will have to find the resister that is bad and replace it.
The resister bank is usually tucked up behind the dash where only a kid can focus his eyes, and contort himself enough to see it.
Once the resister is replaced it should run perfectly.
Presto.
