Here's a link to the user manual for your tv. It looks like page 6 through page 12 describes how to set up the tv.

I had my playstion 3 hooked up to an hd tv and then i hooked it up to a regular tv..the tv isnt reconizing the playstation at alll..i dont know what to do,

Hook the ps3 back up to the hd tv. From here you need to acces the settings resolution options. Set the resolution to 480 (standard tv). Once set for standard, turn off, disconnect, and set up to non hd tv. Problem solved.

Trying to find a tv stand for this tv. what is the weight of the tv

  • Dimensions: 29" H, 30 1/8" W, 22 1/2" D
  • Approx. Shipping Weight: 120 Lbs. I would get a stand that gives you some extra capacity for safety. Measure the base of the TV so you know the dimensions of the sets "footprint" to know the dimensions you need for the stands shelf to accomodate the set. Good luck

    Urc-4700B00 tv was given to me,girlfriend don't

It is the remote that needs to have a code entered to recognize your set. Not knowing if you have the original remote (it shouldn't need a code at all), no one can help you yet.
Also, if you have a remote that didn't come with the set, your chances are slim that your particular set will be among those compatible with the remote. If that URC number is from the remote, you need to go to this website to find the code list:

Is my tv digital compatible or not

https://www.dtv2009.gov/FAQ.aspx What you need to know is whether your TV set has something called a “digital tuner” already built in. If it does, your TV set will work after February 17, 2009. The best way to determine whether your TV set has a digital tuner built in is to consult your owner’s manual. If that’s not possible, you may be able to look up information about your TV set on the manufacturer’s website. Or, you can take an up-close look at your TV set. In any case, you’re trying to find out if your set has an input connection labeled “digital input” or “ATSC” (for Advanced Television Systems Committee, which is the DTV format).

Here are some general guidelines that may help:

TV set made before 1998 was a traditional “analog” set. If you bought a big-screen, projection TV between 1998 and 2004, it may have a built-in digital tuner inside. But chances aren’t great. Only a limited percentage of projection TV sets (and generally only those 42 inches in diameter or larger) included digital tuners before 2004.

If you purchased a new TV set since 2004, your chances of having a built-in digital tuner improve dramatically. Starting in 2004, many of the TV sets sold at popular electronics stores feature digital tuners that will work after February 17, 2009. But it’s not a sure thing. Even some of the newer TV sets are purely display monitors that lack the internal circuitry needed to pick up digital broadcasts. Usually these sets have been advertised as “HD-ready” or “HDTV monitor” sets. That means they can display digital and high-definition signals, but they need help getting those signals in the first place. You’ll still need a special converter or a cable TV connection. Hope this info above helps. Also, check your manual, and if you don't have it some manufacturers, (Philips does for some models) offer the manual on their websites.
