Connect a pc to the router using a nework cable.
Open a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar (just that, no www or http etc.)
You should see the router's maintenance screen, from where you can access security settings, amongst other things. Here you can reset your password, or restore the router to factory settings and start setup from scratch
Can you go online when connected to the laptop directly (after bypassing the router).
The best thing to do is call the D-link technical support on this toll free no....
D-Link Tech Support 1-877-453-5465
They'll guide you to look for the password settings as well as help you you configure the settings with the Laptop.
Good luck.

Use manual above, you need to login, to the Router, via a Web browser, and type in it's address, as in manual, login and set up you network password WEP/WAP KEY again, you have to generate a new KEY, make sure you save setting in router too. Before doing that though, Copy to notepad, save on USB drive. Setup the First PC, login to WiFi network, Copy/Paste KEY, from notepad document, to USB Drive, and save, Then go to client PC's login to WiFi network, plug in USB drive, copy paste WEP?WAP KEY into WiFi, window and login. You must do this on all PC's that wish to access the "net through router.
If you dont remember your router u can resetup
there will be one swich on your router's back just on your router after that press that swich with UPIN it will aoutomatic with go on company setup after that u have to resetup hope fully your issue will solve
On the back of the router is a reset button, Hold this for 10-30 seconds. Allow for it to reset, This will clear the password, I also recommend logging into the router and applying a new password to prevent people from leeching.. little demons..buy your own internet.. >:(
