Phone beeps during calls

This might be being caused by a facility called call waiting
When you are on the phone during a call if someone else rings you will get a beep beep sound to inform you that there is another call coming into your phone.

May be losing the call, are you in a basement or office building when you loose these calls?

• Is it beeping during every call or just some?
• Is it possible that you have call-waiting enabled on your line & the beeping is another call trying to come through?
  If you think this is the case, call your phone service provider & request it be taken off your line.
• Try plugging a different phone into the line to determine if the problem is being cause by your phone, or by the phone line.

I have the same problem with the key pad beep during telephone
conversations and I hace a Uniden 5.8ghz phone.
So its not just panasonic 5.8 ghz phones that do the beeping.

the beep you hear during your phone call is a minute reminder meaning a beep will be heard signalling that the call has been going for another minute.

to remove this feature if you find it annoying just go to call settings there should be a setting about minute reminders: make sure it is off.

check if this a minute beep during on call, you can find it on the menu settings , call settings.

It is hard to tell if this conference phone is installed on a PBX or not? "At meetings" tends to make me believe that it is. Beeping can come from a few sources. If a call is being recorded it is necessary to provide a beep tone so that the parties on the line know that they are being recorded. This is a FCC requirement. You can ask the other party if they are recording the call. Beeping can come from call waiting. It is recommended to turn call waiting off unless you are bridging incoming calls. If a call is on hold you will get a beeping tone. You can check by pressing the flash button and see if there is a second call. If so hangup and your original call should return normally.
