Phone keeps beeping twice during calls
How do you disable this feature? To stop the crazy beep, beep, it's becoming annoying-"Sounds like someone's tapping into the phone.
If its a double-beep, its normally an incoming call alert, which you hear when you're already on the phone. Its alerting you, so you can answer the incoming call. If you don't want call waiting, then you can turn that off in your phone's "call" settings.
If its not that, then it may be the in-call alert set to beep for every minute that passes. In your phone settings, you should be able to find this in your "in-call" or "call" settings.
Depending on the phone, if you just got it, it may beep when you have been on for a minute or a different time, it may beep because you have a message, or it may beep because your battery is low or because of the setting it is on, please post the type of phone if none of these reasons are the cause

Usually answered in minutes!
This phone is a Philips Model CD4450 cordless phone. I originally thought it was call waiting, but there never has been anyone there.
