My phone wont charge.... i have bought a new battery, charged it for 24 hours, and it still wont charge. even when it does charge it wont keep the charge for more than a day. why wont it charge. plzzzz help

some of these PCs have 2 battery options.

and that error only means 2nd battery not present .

some new batteries are bad.
does the PC run on AC pack alone , no big batteries attached,
if not the PACK is no good and charging becomes impossible.

a new battery can be overly , discharged sitting in some warehouse for 1+ years.
so the manual on your PC tells you to charge it for 24 hours first. (or while sleeping)
or reseat the battery even brush of the connectors to it. clean them.

Minimum 15 min. With short conversations(2 to 4 min) keep on charger. Full charge in a 24hr period. Have a nice day.

It depends how old the battery is. Maybe the battery is dead and u need to get a new one.

you should charge it with the laptop off for at least 24 hours this shoud fix that new batteries need a 24 hour charge

my phone is the same model and did this but when i charged it, after about an hour it would come up with 'charging error stop ' and when i unplugged it, it hadn't even charged at all. and then the other day it just wouldnt charge, i plugged it in, it said it was charging but it wasnt. in the end, it worked by keeping the phone switched off and charging it while i was turned off. so try that, if not then i really dont know sorry

Purchasing a new phone is easy and everyone is always in a hurry to use new phone but never go through the manual properly. You did the same you didn't put the battery on charge for 24 hours. Now to check your phone take another charged battery for nokia put it inside your phone and start it. It will deffinetly work. In order to revive your dead battery keep your battery on charge while the phone is switched off for minimum 24 hours. If it gets revived its ok or else purchase a new one.

this problem can be caused by many factors. Use of the phone can drain battery life for example if you use the phone for browsing the web or as an mp3 player, even to make or recieve calls the battery life will not be as long as it would if just on standby. also if the battery hasn't been conditioned or is being over charged this can also lead to short battery life.To resolve the problem try conditioning th battery, basically let the charge drain completely out of the phone until the phone actually switches off, then charge the phone for 24 hours. it wont harm your phone they just recomend 24 hours to make sure the bat is ok and that it gets fully charged but remember to let your bat go totally flat from time to time this will prolong the life of your battery as it does them no good just keep topping it up so i sugest to let it go totally flat say once a month this will keep your battery lasting longer between charge hope this helps
