Polaroid FLM-1514B LCD TV Logo
Anonymous Posted on Apr 13, 2010

I'm trying to connect my Polaroid 15" LCD TV (model FLM-1514B) to my Directv box and only get a blue screen on the tv.

  • Anonymous Apr 13, 2010

The tv was hooked up to the Directv box and working fine, and then one of my children pressed the wrong button on the Directv remote when turning off the tv, and then it wouldn't turn on again. I assume it's a problem with the Polaroid tv(since it's not an expensive tv)and its ability to communicate with the Directv box.

You need to do a factory reset on these tv's to get it working everytime you power it up. Then you can toggle through the inputs to get it to work. What a pain!!

Turn off blue screen in the menu of the TV if you can or cycle through the input sources on the remote to find the directv signal. Check cable setup in back of TV if it still does not work. Has the directv box been working with any other TV?
