I have a Husky 2600 PSI power washer with the Honda GCV160 engine that I can't get to start. It was okay when I purchased it from Home Depot last spring but now I've tried putting new gas in it, spraying carb cleaner, new spark plug, and it still won't start. I only ran it for about 30 minutes when I first purchased it. The guy at the service desk at Home Depot told me that the water hose should be attached and turned on while trying to start. Is this true or would this be starting the motor under a load condition? Any other suggestions on getting it to start?

I have a brand new 2600 with same problem. It stopped running after an hour . It is full with new gas and the oil is full. I suspect the fuel filter because I borrowed my friends washer. Its the same model and almost brand new and it shut off exactly the same as mine. Tomorrow I'm going to change the filters. What a piece of ****. I bought a new one to escape these problems.
