Gestetner Destktop 2412Z Copier displaying error code: UF. What does it mean and how to resolve
or clear it? The copier can initialize when I turn on the popwer but
cannot copy due to error. I carried out simulation 02 and I was able to
print several copies but when I lleave simulation. UF displays again.
I'd checked the developer powder and found out that it's running out.
Does it have something to do with the error? I'll appreciate any help
or assistance you will extend to me.

The error code 545 or SC545 means that the fuser, also known as the fixer assembly has a thermistor problem (this part melts the toner onto the page). It could also mean that the fusing lamp is disconnected.
If a simple reset of the of the error code does not work ("Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s. Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch) you may need to have your machine serviced by a professional. It is your best bet to also have standard cleaning maintenance done by your on site technician after fixing the error.
This is fixing error code. The E004 is heater has failed - this usually last the life of the copier. The 0010 part is that the copier was turned off without resetting the error not a problem to reset. After resetting the error, fire up the copier and write down the error as displayed if it comes back. The sub code is very important to correct the problem. Some codes mean you have to replace the fixing heater power supply or the DC Controller. This is how you reset the code: Press the additional function key, then press the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, then the additional function key again. Press copier, function ( across the top of display ), CLEAR, ERR, then OK. Turn off copier and power back up. If the error happens again you may have a major problem that a tech may have to resolve. Good Luck.

The large tray on the right is where the jam is. Slide the lever to the right and disconnect it from the machine. Open the cover as if you where filling it with paper. Look inside for and half sheets of paper, or possibly misloaded paper. If everything is ok, the front cover by the lever needs to come off. There are 2 screws on the bottom of the cover. Take the cover off, and then take the upper cover off. Underneath it is a switch. See if there is a piece of paper wedged in it. If so, remove it. Replace covers. If that does not solve the problem, then it probably needs feed rollers. You might be able to clean them with soap and water, but it will jam again in time.
