Brand new ge 65 point dehumidifier seems to not be getting power I plug it in & nothing no lights no sound just nothing

if it's brand new i think you should return it to place of purchase , if not so new anymore , ck the water collection bucket it has a "Tipper" in it that detects a full bucket these are allways getting "out of wack!" and need to be adjusted slightly

Need new squirrel cage fan for Maytag M7DH65B2A dehumidifier

Yes! I ordered one yesterday. Go to

http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/search/partinfo.php?partsID=281964&modelsID=115462&typeName=dehumidifier

or if that link doesn't work go to appliancefactory parts.com and search under Fedders dehumidifier parts.

Location of Maytag M7DH45B2A motor fuse

I'm fixing one of these too. Take the top off (follow the AC cord) and the fuse is on the PCB.

I am also looking for a better wiring diagram - the control panel on mine does not light up.

The fan fell apart on my M7DH45B2A and I was wondering how to find a part number for the fan to order a new one.

ApplianceFactoryparts.com has the replacement part for the "squirrel cage" for the motor or "fan". Use the Model number to find the parts.

Humidity reading is 16% when actual humidity is 46%

Running a dehumidifier when the ambient temperature is to low will cause freeze-ups. Also running it when the dew point of the moisture in the air is to low will cause it to freeze up when you set it to low which would be a higher number on the set point.

The hand written number on the probe casing is probably a quality control inspector number.
