This is normal. The cardstock is fed from the manual feed or bypass tray and when selected the duplex option goes away. Many manufacturers do this....meaning they do not allow duplexing from the bypass tray. For the same reason they do limit automatic duplexing to standard or near standard papers. Cardstock is specifically excluded from duplexing obviously due to it's thick nature and when duplexing the paper has to be turned over and go thru paper paths that are not suitable for thick paper. If you must make a 2 sided copy using cardstock you will have to run the sheet thru the machine 2 times, also known as manual duplex.
Hope this helps.

How to reset kyocera km 6030 Double sided copy mode. When i want to copy double sided page then i will see in screen... ""Reset All Originals in Document Processor ""

I think the message is "Reseat All Originals in Document Processor". This message apears when there was a misfeed or something like that. It means that you must put back all the documents, to be scanned again. Clean the paper feed/pickup rollers with a cloth dampned in alcohol.

How to copy 2 sided

If your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printer cannot print double sided pages automatically.
You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.
First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn the page upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for the rest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up on both sides of the page so it reads correctly.

Duplex copying on xerox phaser 3300mfp

I have the same problem and was told by the telephone helpdesk that the machine cannot copy double-sided to double-side. The duplexing referred to is copying 2 single-sided documents onto one single sheet on both sides....Like whoever does that! This is misleading on Xerox's part . Colin B.

How to scan double sided documents

With a home scanner you can only scan one side at a time. Some printer copiers are capable of double sided copies but the machines are big and bulky because they have to run the paper on one side then flip it over and scan the other side. These type machines are for office use. What kind of scanner are you trying to use? Is it the Lexmark as listed, if it is then it is not capable of scanning double sided documents. they must be scanned one page at a time.

[email protected] I am trying to print on 110 lb cardstock and It keeps geeting stuck. I can't seem to find where I should change the paper type. Please advise.

Use the hand feed tray on the right side. When you put paper in this tray it usually will ask you to set the paper type. 110 lb. card stock is EXTREMELY difficult to copy onto. It might be better to bring this particular job to a copy center. This type of stock will put serious wear on your machines drum. Drums cost big money. Good luck.

How can i make double sided copies on a brother mfc 7420 printer???

The manual doesn't say it will do double sided copies. it will copy two pages to one sheet of paper or 4 pages to one sheet of paper. you will probably have to make a copy of the document and then reload the paper back into the tray. experiment with it like put it in face down or face up then which is the top of the page. you can use a marker on a blank sheet of paper to see how it prints out.
hope this helps

ir2016 is allready A3 size copier.you can change tray setting.pull out tray from machine and then set A3 paper on it according to paper you must change blue lever position from A4 to A3.then close your tray.now you can work with A3 size paper
for double side copying you must be installed a "duplex unit" which is not come with standard machine. It is an optional unit.after that you can make double sided copying.

Cannot print double sided

On the machine when a 2 sided document is inserted in the document handler, select the 2x2 button on the console. Press the start button and the machine will feed the document in, and do a reverse of the document for the second scan. In the paper feeder, the machine feeds the paper in and reversed the copy back into the machine, flips the copy then feeds the copy back for the second side to be copied.
If you do not have a m20i, the lower model numbers will not do two sided copies.
