Chrome doesn't load pages + Firefox is Hijacked

Google chrome hangs and has a message that says that the pages "have become unresponsive" and then asks me to kill the page but doesn't do anything.
Also, Mozilla Firefox's links are getting hijacked.
I have used Spybot, SDFix, Malwarebytes, AVG, Avast!, ComboFix, SmitFraudFix, and VundoFix without any success.

Please help!

Why does google chrome become unresponsive so much? is there anything better?

Google Chrome is a quite good browser. The issue could be related to your computer (eg. virus etc.).
You can try Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari as an alternative to Chrome.

  • You might try disabling java scripts in chrome under "Options > Under The Bonnet > Privacy Content Settings > JavaScript". That might fix the hanging up part, but you will be left with no java.

Why is firefox not loading web sites properly?

if you have another browser you can use temporarily, like IE or Google Chrome...then go to your control panel, program uninstall and delete Firefox. Then use your alternate browser to go to mozilla.com and download a fresh copy of it. Install it and you should be fine. Sometimes browsers just need to be replaced..do this and let me know how it comes out.
