There are a few reasons why you might be getting the "message sending failed" error on your Nokia 1202 phone.
Your phone may not have enough credit. Make sure that you have enough credit to send a message. You can check your credit balance by dialing *130#.
The recipient's number may be blocked. Check to make sure that the recipient's number is not blocked on your phone. You can do this by going to Settings > Phone > Blocked numbers.
There may be a problem with the network. If you are in an area with poor reception, you may not be able to send messages. Try moving to a different location with better reception.
Your phone may be outdated. If your phone is outdated, it may not be compatible with the latest messaging protocols. You may need to update your phone's firmware to fix this issue.
There may be a problem with the SIM card. If your SIM card is damaged or faulty, you may not be able to send messages. Try replacing the SIM card.
If you have tried all of the above and you are still getting the "message sending failed" error, you will need to contact your carrier for help. They may be able to troubleshoot the issue and help you resolve it.
Here are some additional tips that might help:
Make sure that you are using the correct message center number. The message center number is the number that your phone uses to send and receive messages. You can find the message center number for your carrier by contacting them or by looking on their website.
Make sure that you are not trying to send a message to a long number. Long numbers, such as international numbers, can sometimes cause the "message sending failed" error.
Make sure that you are not trying to send a message to a number that is blocked. Some carriers block certain numbers, such as numbers that are associated with spam.
You can't send a text message to multiple people on the iPhone, at least not using the stock messages.
If you're jailbroken, there are a couple apps you can use to send messages to multiple recipients.
1. RealSMS (paid)
2. iSms (free)
3. BiteSMS (free with adds, paid without).
Hope this helps!
If you're putting a "1" in front of the number (eg. 1-123-555-1234) try taking it off, or adding it onto the number your are trying to text, and try calling it to make sure you typed the number correctly. You, or someone could've accidently went into your contacts and inadvertantly modified the number you are trying to text.
Open your 'outbox' folder -- there might be one message "stuck" there, due to having an invalid ID.
So, every time that you open your E-mail program, it tries again to send that same message, and, of course, fails to send it. So, just DELETE that E-mail, since it repeatedly cannnot be delivered.
this is late, but for anyone else wanting to know, this occurs when your message reaches the companies smsc [short message service centre] it fails to send to the recipient at first, so it stores itself on the centre [or logs] and will attempt to send multiple times over the course of the next 48-72 hours depending on how they have their engineering setup. This can result in multiple sms, this is most likely not your handset, but in rare cases with certain phones, like blackberry handsets and some older symbian [vulnerable to hackers] can do this. So call your provider and get them to raise a fault through their networks, then if it fails, look into your handset.
Hi! The best thing you do is contact the company that your phone isconnected then tell them to activate your text message, maybe your phone line providers did not or they disconnect your text messaging hope this solution help you Thanks !!!!
