How to move contacts and folders from old hotmail account to new hotmail account

Hotmail is a free online email service provided by MSN. Hotmail users can create contact lists in their email accounts, which allows them quick access to the contact information of their friends, families and co-workers. The contact lists can be easily changed, contacts can be added or deleted, information can be updated and certain contacts can be designated as favorites. Contact favorites are listed on the inbox menu for easy accessibility when composing emails or instant messaging.

Log into your Hotmail account using your Windows Live ID. This will open your Hotmail inbox. Click on "Contacts List" in the left-hand menu. Click "New" to add a contact to your list. Type in the contact's name, nickname, address, business information and phone number. You can also add other information, such as a person's birthday and personal notes. Click "Save." Your contact list will be immediately updated with the new contact's information. Delete a contact by checking the box next to his name. Click "Delete." Click "OK" to confirm that you wish to delete this contact. b> How to Change Hotmail Contact Information b> Log into your Hotmail account using your Windows Live ID. I received e-mail from Yahoo request I upgrade to internet Explorer 9. After I download. I lost my FAVORITES. How I can get back?????

I unfortunately do not use internet explorer nine, but you can give this a quick whirl. If you're using windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Favorites, and verify your favorites are still there. If they are, you should be able to click the drop down menu in the favorites menu (in internet explorer) that says "Add to favorites", on the drop down menu should be import / export. You can import your favorites folder from there.
If you use windows 7 or Vista the folder is C:\Users\Username\Favorites, and everything else should be the same. Hope this helps!

I can no longer modify, add content, etc. to my.msn homepage...

Make sure that you are logged into msn. Since you cleared your cookies and temp files, it may have "forgotten" your login information. Also, check that your browser isn't set to clear history and cookies after you close it.

Internet explorer

Hi,

Are you using internet explorer (IE 7)? or you are using the internet explorer with an old version. If your internet is unable to load some website you may need to restore its settings. but before doing it, you need to export your favorites first.

1. Open internet explorer then go to file then export your favorites.

2. Click on Tools then internet option, the go to Advance tab

3. for Internet explorer 7(newer version) click on reset. Restore for old internet explorer version.

4. Import your favorites after the restoration.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

/jeff
