There is no such thing as a TI89 Plus Silver Edition.

If you mean the TI-89 or TI-89 Titanium, press diamond / (the diamond key below the 2ND key, then the divide key).

You are running the application called Inequalz. You must uninstall it (NOT DELETE) to return to the normal calculator configuration.
Press [APPS]. Scroll down to find Inequalz. Highlight its number in the list and press {ENTER]. You will see a screen Inequal Running and
  1. Continue
  2. Quit Inequal
  3. 3:About.
Press [2:Quit ..]
Your calculator will unload it out of memory.

To enter the inequation you split it into two inequalities

Use [2nd][CATALOG] to access the relaional operators less than or equal, greater than or equal, and the operator AND.
To access the inequality signs scroll upwards from abs( to reach the bottom of the catalog.
Note: You can use t as variable only in parametric graphs. Use x.

I do not know how to find the greater than and equal to sign on the ti-84 silver plus calc

press 2nd, then math. It will bring you to a menu with =, not equal, >, <, and that kind of stuff
