The ViviCam X327 is designed primarily as a still camera. It does not record any sound when recording videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to this can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some things that you can do that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

The ViviCam doesn't record any audio with its videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer.

Alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries tend not to last very long in high-drain devices like digital cameras. Lithium batteries tend to last longer. This doesn't really depend on the brand, Energizers and Duracells will both work about the same.

Mine was doing this and now it won't even turn on. It turns on, says lens error, then turns off.

The lens mechanism is damaged.Replace lens assy.
