SOURCE: Dishwasher won't drain all the way
I have a siemens Model SL34A and it will run the whole wash cycle but at the end it is still full of water and will not drain . Tried drain declogger and checked all the hoses for clogges and dose not appear to be the probblem.

most likely a new controller switch only...

After cleaning the air gap thingy my machine works fine again. This thing sits on the left lower back side of the machine (left when you are standing in front of the machine). It is a transparent plastic box with 3 hoses attached (drain hose from pump, drain hose to the outside and water). Inside the box is a black plastic float. If debris gets caught in there the float gets stuck.
Solution is to remove the part by pulling the 2 drain hoses out (there is a small black clip holding them in) and unclamp and remove the water hose. Rinse and shake the housing until the float moves freely again and reassemble.

Thanks a lot. I filled the chamber with water, turned the machine on, and it worked.
Thank You
according to you, the inlet water strainer is cleaned! Still the wter is not entering the m/c. The solinoid vale in the inlet may be not opening! Check the valve and its associated parts. Or try as follows. Try adding water manually to the wash chamber. It may take around 10 to 15 liters only. Do not overflow. Try starting the washer. If takes ON, it shows water is not entering the machine automatically. As said the Inlet Solinoid valve not opening.
