Oven won't heat or clean but broiler works

Just bought a used Fridgidaire stove model CFEF372ECS which is the same as one I have in my winter home. Seller said everything worked fine and I tried all the elements while there. When I got it home and tried the oven to clean it,.......no heat. The broiler works fine though.
They said they just used it the night before and it was working perfectly.
Could something have happened in transit (laid it on its back in the van).

Is this something costly? Contacted the seller who says we can have our money back or will pay half to repair.

Hotpoint oven won't heat above 250 degrees broiler works fine as well as the stove top

either its the oven sensor rod located at the top of the ovens cavity,or your bake element could be getting a hot spot which is when it gets a discolored spot in the element and can no longer pass sufficient current to heat the oven past 250 degrees

Frigidaire oven will not light

The control panel behind the knobs is the most likely problem.

The heating element rarely fails.

You need a new t-stat control. Your element is fine. Give us a call with your complete model number and we'll get the right part out to you asap to get you ready for the winter.

Oven does not heat. Broiler and stove work. NO gas smell.

could be the oven thermostat, get a plumber/heating engineer out, but make sure you can trust him, cause he could try and say u need a new cooker when it MIGHT only be a new oven thermostat.

Fridgidaire FGF 374 CCSA oven and broiler do not come on

F1 means it is a defective eeprom. The software is incorrect. Replace EOC. Check inside the bottom drawer on the right side: there was an envelope with the troubleshooting and maintenance diagrams in it.

Heat elements in oven/broiler do not heat up

I would say to go and reset your curciut breaker first if this is a electric oven. needs 220 volts for both element to work
