Revo iBlik Wifi, LED Display Dim

Hi All,

it doesn't seem to be popular device, but i have a Revo iblik. Its like a little stereo that you can dock your ipod into. In addition you listen to internet radio via Wifi and regular radio stations.

The problem I have with it, is that the LED display has suddenly faded to very low level. Has anyone had the same problem?

I've contacted Revo an i'm waiting for a reply.

thanks all

Not a solution, but I have the same problem with my unit.
In addition it has started (sometimes) to continue any adjustment of the volume to the extreme end: If I try to lower the volume a bit, it will turn it completely down, and likewise if I try to adjust it up a bit, it will continue to max.
Apparently Revo does not offer any support other than sending it for service for

Hi I have a Technics sheh790 and the screens are very dim can they be adjusted

Yes, it is possible to adjust the brightness of the display screen on your Technics SH-EH790 stereo system.
Here are the steps to adjust the brightness on your device:
  1. Press the "Display" button on your remote control or on the front panel of the stereo system. This will bring up the menu for adjusting the display settings.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to select "Dimmer" and then press the "Enter" button.
  3. Use the arrow buttons again to select the desired brightness level for the display. You can choose from "Bright," "Mid," or "Dark" options.
  4. Once you have made your selection, press the "Enter" button to save the new settings.
If you find that the display is still too dim after adjusting the brightness level, it is possible that the backlight or other components of the display are failing and may need to be repaired or replaced. In that case, you may need to contact a professional technician for assistance.

I want to connect my mp3 player to either my soundbar or flat screen. How would i go about that?

Hi

You don't identify your make and model of MP3 player or your Flat Screen TV.

Some types of MP3 player can dock into a device (MP3 Dock) that has audio output connectors that can connect to either your TV or your Sound Bar with either standard stereo phono or HDMI cables (your TV has HDMI capability).

If no dock is available for your MP3 player, a stereo phono to 1/4 inch stereo jack will connect either audio Out or Headphone Socket to your TV or Soundbar. The sound quality may not be the best with this type of connection but it should be adequate.

A retailer like Radioshack, Best Buy, PC World, Maplin, etc. (depending on where you are) should stock these MP3 Docks and cables.

Hope this helps.

CHARGING LIGHT DOESN'T COME ON WHEN THE DEVICE IS ON THE DOCKING STATION

The adapter that comes with the Archos 605 must be firmly fixed to the docking station by pressing very firmly with a loud click. It feels delicate so if you only click it lightly it wont connect properly. This is poor design but at least it is OK now.
