Apple brakes down their folders different than anybody. If you keep digging you will find your songs but not in any order or not named like you did it. This is how Apple keeps you and me from sharing write protected music with out paying for the rights again. If you drag and drop or copy music in to a folder on your player it will not play and the player will not find it. You have to use itunes or Ms Media player. If you try to link to another persons computer you can delete all the music you have on the player now, another one of Apples little deals to keep us from sharing music.

How to put songs on The Simpletech Drive?

Just plug the Simpletech in the old computer that has the songs on it. Your computer will recognize the Simpletech drive. You can copy (from your old computer) and paste your songs to the Simpletech drive. Maybe all the songs you want will be in your My Music folder under My Documents. If so, you can just copy the whole My Music folder to the Simpletech.

Once you have the songs on the Simpletech, you can now plug it into the new computer. You can copy an paste from the Simpletech to your My Music Folder on the new computer.

You can also use the drag and drop instead of copy and paste.

Cant find songs in psp

You can not just make a folder and think it will work. That is not how the psp finds songs. The psp only looks in one place every time for music. Go into the psp memory stick and open the PSP folder and then there should be a MUSIC folder. That is where you put the music.

I have a coby mp3 player. o bells or whistles. is full of music. cant i just download more music over the songs i have on it, or will i have to buy another one? thanks

You can copy out all your songs on to your computers hard drive. Go to -> my computer right click the my computer icon and choose explore -> click on your hard drive = + C:\ and look on the folder tree for a folder to put every thing in or create a new folder, right click the +C:\ and add new folder. Go to your player (hook it up to your computer) on the tree, find the folder with all your music and right click -> copy then go to your new folder and right click -> paste= done.

How to download songs to an mp3 player from itunes

MP3 players cant be used with itunes, Itunes is only for Ipods and such.
Just see where you download the actual songs. and put them in a folder and copy the songs into your MP3 player.

Or you can also try right clicking on the song in itunes and then copying and pasting it in the MP3 player

Cant hear music

Make sure the songs are in the right format. Also, the SYS folder was the wrong folder to put the songs in. Just use Windows Media Player like the manual suggests - it will make life easier.

Help transering music to phone

When you transfered the songs, what folder did you put them in? Try moving them to a different folder. The phone is probably looking at a particular folder to find songs.

Hope that helps...

You can manually delete the music thru My Computer. Just click on the device name, and open the Music folder. If you dont have a Music folder, you need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer. Best of Luck.

Putting music on mp3 player

after hooking up the device to your USB, open my computer and you should see something like removable drive E or some thing like that. Double click on that device and drop your songs in there and give a try. Some of these devices do not come with a default music folder created already. You have the option of creating one if you wish just like on your hard drive. Or just drop them into the device it's self.

Deleting songs

Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
